Happy new year, beautiful ladies. I took Finn to school this Monday morning, January 9th. After two weeks of Xmas holiday, it takes some time to get used to the silence. I can hear myself think again. 🙂

It’s always so cozy with him in the house, but to be honest, working at home is pretty much impossible. Working from home and entertaining a 7-year-old boy who wants to adventure is challenging.

The first week we all camped on the couch with the flu, but the second week was full of plans that we almost all implemented, from an amusement park and Zoo to a play date with a friend.

I've already shared on Instagram how I don’t do good intentions at the start of the new year. I do have things I would like to try to do, and I forgive myself in advance if they fail.

Work examples:

  • build my brand to the next level

  • entering into more collaborations

  • earn more money with my brand

  • portray and interview more women

  • writing more is my passion; I don’t get around to it enough

  • work more on the website

  • send newsletters

  • plan better and keep an agenda

  • be less modest and shine bright (

  • preferably like a disco ball) even more in real life and online

As I wrote above, I already forgive myself for failing.

I woke up at five this morning because Socks had to pee and couldn’t get back to sleep after that. This is very rare; I usually never wake up in the middle of the night. While laying there, listening to the sound of my two sleeping co-sleepers, it surprised me how many ghosts can go through your head in the middle of the night. As all the horrible doom scenarios passed in review, there wasn’t a positive thought among them. Why is that?

A PERSONAL RESOLUTION, NO MORE WAKING UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.

I am much more positive when I sleep until the alarm goes off. It is also immediately apparent how important sleep is, if only for a relaxed mind. Hopefully, in 2023 the perimenopause ‘sleep maintenance insomnia’ nights will skip me because sleep disturbances are one the most common symptoms, and tonight’s incident remains an incident.

Moreover, all those dooming thoughts make no sense; they are often unnecessary and will never happen (fingers crossed). I hereby decide it’s much nicer to fill your head with positivity.
