Tell us what you’d like us to know about yourself:
My name is Nanny de Bruin, married and mother of a daughter (32) and son (29).
Age has never been an issue to me, I never lied about it, and I never let people guess my age. I think this is silly. In general, I feel like I am 35 and learned through aging to put things into perspective as a middle-aged woman (sounds awkward;)).
Luckily I am blessed with a great sense of humor and determination. And as being a Libra, I love style, art, symmetry, and above all, fashion. Always fascinated by why people dress the way they do and the influence of politics, architecture, art in general on fashion.
What do you do for work?
I work as an art director, creative advisor, and stylist.
Best and worst thing about becoming an older woman?
The worst thing about getting older is all these (stupid and annoying) physical inconveniences.
The best part of getting older is self-reflection and my grey-white hair that I will never cut.
