Tell us all about your brand 74thAvenue?

My name Dayenne, designer and creative director of sweater and jewelry brand 74th Avenue.

I am a fashion stylist (born in the Caribbean and based in Amsterdam) with a special love for crew neck sweaters, jewelry, and accessories.

“Everyone can look good in a sweater if you style it right” ad the right jewelry and accessories and you are good to go! My sweaters are for everyone of all sizes and gender.

This idea came about after being inspired by one of my trips to NYC and LA. I always wanted to start a small business to explore my own creativity. Being busy working as a stylist it took the pause button like the Covid19 lockdown to find time to start.

They say when life throws you lemons, you make lemonade. So during the lockdown, I didn’t sit still, it was the best time to start my small business.

Why hand made:

I use a special shiny material to ad the designs on top of the sweaters by hand. Doing it by hand gives them a special feel. No sweaters are the same even if you order the same design.

Every design is one-of-a-kind.
