First, we followed and liked each other work, soon after I asked her to pose for &Bloom. The genuine positivity that she radiates on her IG account (check it out, even though it is in Dutch…), she radiates even more in real life, this special lady. It was impossible NOT to ask her for this project.

Tell us what you’d like us to know about yourself.

I was born in Colombia and raised in the Netherlands. I am married to my high school sweetheart Reinier, who is my soul mate and the absolute opposite in almost everything I do. I am a proud mom of 2, Jonah & Yael. For me becoming a mom was the biggest gift in my life as I do not know my biological family, I was adopted.

In daily life, I love to color the streets, make contact with people, learn every day. I am happiest when preparing a party or dinner with Reinier, reading books with Jonah or visiting concerts with Yael. During the weekend we love to go to musea and have long talks at the dinner table.

What Do You Do for Work?

I am a style coach and speaker. I trigger women to discover the endless possibilities of their wardrobe. It is my mission to empower and inspire women and do it in a socially and environmentally responsible way. I focus on identity, body positivity“>body positivity, out of the box thinking, experimenting, and bringing color to their life.

What’s the Biggest Risk You’ve Ever Taken?

Following my heart and dreams, as well personally and business-wise. I have always done so, but it was quite challenging at times. However, I couldn’t stop myself from doing it.

What’s your fantasy version of your older self?

I, 70 years old, wearing colorful outfits with statement sneakers going out to Paradiso celebrating life and enjoying music.

Current Crush?

Reinier, Jonah and Yael who make me laugh all the time. I am blessed with really funny people around me.

What’s the one thing you most hope for personally in the coming year?

To book my trip to Colombia. I have not been there since I was 20. I would love to show my birth country to Reinier and the children.

What Scares You?

Almost nothing. I believe in the good, the positive, and the kindness of people. But for my children, I pray for good health every day.

What’s on your nightstand?

A book and a notebook. A book for inspiration, my notebook to write down my crazy ideas which I always get before I fall asleep.

How old are you?

I am 42 years old. But I must emphasize that since my 40ies I never felt more energized and young. This has to do with following my heart more and more. And with the fact that I discovered kickboxing a few years ago. It makes me strong, healthy, and even more confident.
