Today, I paid a whirlwind visit to PAN Amsterdam to meet my friend Pien. Once again this year, she has a stunning stand at the art fair in Amsterdam.
With an entirely new collection from her artists, she – in my opinion – stole the show once again.
Of course, Mr. AndBloom and I also wandered around to explore the other galleries, but no one can do what Pien does. That’s just my humble opinion, but one I wholeheartedly stand by. With Rademakers Gallery, she focuses on young artists working across various disciplines, including a significant emphasis on textile art.
Personally, I’m a big fan of textile art. What I especially admire about Pien is her incredible eye for spotting talent, her tireless support for artists, and her impeccable taste in female artists such as Joana Schneider and Yamuna Forazani.

Pien Rademakers is a visionary gallerist and the driving force behind Rademakers Gallery, a vibrant space dedicated to showcasing contemporary art and design. Based in Amsterdam, her gallery has earned a reputation for its innovative approach, focusing on young and emerging talents across a variety of disciplines.
With a particular passion for textile art, Pien has an unparalleled ability to spot groundbreaking talent and foster their growth. She champions artists who push boundaries, often with a focus on female creators like Joanna Schneider and Yamuna Forazani. Her gallery’s exhibitions are celebrated for their diversity, boldness, and meticulous curation, reflecting her exceptional taste and commitment to supporting artists in every stage of their careers.
Rademakers Gallery stands as a beacon in the art world, blending fine art, design, and craft into thought-provoking and visually stunning collections. Pien’s unwavering dedication to her artists and her sharp curatorial eye continue to inspire and shape the contemporary art scene.

Only female artists platform
As someone who deeply admires the work of Pien Rademakers, I am thrilled to talk about Pien’s inspiring initiative: the Only Female Artists Platform. This project is a true celebration of female creativity, offering a dedicated space for artists who identify as women to showcase their remarkable talents.
What I love most about this platform is its bold mission to amplify female voices in an art world that is still largely male-dominated. By spanning disciplines such as fine art, fashion, design, and jewelry, Pien not only highlights the diversity of women’s artistry but also breaks down barriers that have long limited their visibility.
This initiative reflects everything I admire about Pien—her impeccable taste, her tireless support for artists, and her unwavering commitment to making a difference. Through this platform, she is reshaping the narrative and championing the creativity and strength of female artists everywhere.
