One of my favorite things to do is travel the world. To explore unknown places, but certainly also to visit places where I have been before. When I was younger, I lived in Paris for a while; until this day, Paris is one of my favorite cities.

Because I think having a beautiful place when traveling for work is essential, I always look for a photogenic hotel or apartment. That way, I kill two birds with one stone and have a lovely place to stay and a beautiful location to photograph. My main goal during such a trip is to shoot the AndBloom portraits, but I also like to shoot the cities, interiors, and stills.
So during my stay and in addition to the portraits, I take pictures of the hotel and write a blog about it. If you are ever looking for a hotel in Paris, this one is highly recommended.
Hotel Les Jardins du Faubourg is hidden away on a quiet street in the heart of the 8th arrondissement in Paris.
Push open the double doors, hidden from view, and step inside to experience the wonderful world. To offer its guest the ultimate French luxury, this former Haussmann townhouse has been fully renovated but retains all its original character. Everything has been tailor-made, designed using high-quality materials (solid wood, marble, fabrics). It’s all wonderful and stylish.

This time around in Paris, we found on the internet the hotel Les Jardins du faubourg. A slight advantage of the Corona pandemic is that Paris is also very quiet among all big cities worldwide. Many hotels are closed. Fortunately, this hotel still had rooms available.
This beautiful hotel in the center of Paris is near the Champs-Elysées, Place de la Concorde and Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. The Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré stands out as one of the most iconic places for luxury shopping.
Tired of shopping and sightseeing (is that even possible in Paris…)? You can take a dip in the cozy swimming pool in the basement, where a steam bath and sauna are included. You can also book a beauty treatment.
The restaurant serves French cuisine for a delicious and sophisticated dining experience.

Les Jardins du Faubourg has 36 rooms from Contemporary or Parisian rooms: two wildly inspiring worlds, two beautiful settings in which to experience the very essence of luxury and French elegance.
The beautiful spacious rooms served as an excellent backdrop for my portraits. Besides that, it was also great to relax with excellent soft beds and luxurious bathrooms. If you are ever looking for a hotel in the center of Paris, this place is a must.
When the weather is beautiful, the green oasis courtyard full of exotic plants (including wonderfully fragrant jasmine) is a fabulous place to have breakfast or to have a lazy late afternoon aperitif.
