Today I share the unforgettable story of my best friend, Dayenne. Those following on Instagram for some time know about her breast cancer story.

I have been sharing about her process and recovery on my feed. October is breast cancer awareness month. Today I share Dayenne’s story out of respect for her all women dealing with breast cancer.

In December 2018, Dayenne felt a lump in her breast. After examination in the hospital, there was confusion, cancer, and no cancer. At first, they thought it was scar tissue, but it turned out to be a tumor on closer inspection. Unfortunately, not a mild form of breast cancer but a severe malignant form. A fierce process of chemo, radiation, and operation followed to get her healthy again.

I have stood next to her during this intense period. This beautiful woman is a true inspiration and an example for many. Dayenne herself tells her story in the stunning video that I am sharing with you today. #proud
