Tell Us About Yourself?
I’m Danielle. A late bloomer. From the age of 40, I started to follow my passion and develop myself. And that process is still in full swing at the age of 50. First and foremost, I am a mother of 2 sons (so proud!). I really enjoy seeing how they grow as a person of their own and being able to guide them. I found love again after my divorce. It is exceptional how you can make a connection stronger and stronger together. I consider myself very lucky. In dutch called “een zondagskind”. I’ve been through a lot through the years, but life always flips over in the right direction.
What can you tell us about love?
For me, there are many different forms of love you can feel for my partner, my ex-husband, children, friends, pet, or even for a character from a book. We all thrive on it, and there is an inexhaustible supply available. That is why it is so strange that people do not always live from love … it costs nothing! But without darkness, there can be no light, so the world will never be just a loving place with that in mind.
What advice would you give your younger self?
The things I struggled with as a young child are still inside me. The difference is that I recognize them now and know how to live with them. Fear, opinion of others, uncertainty. So unnecessary! The advice to me as a young girl? You don’t have to be liked by the whole world.
What do you do for work?
I have my own company in which I can fully express myself. Everything I do is focused on a healthy lifestyle, which is reflected in the way you eat, the form of skincare, and how you live your life.
I know what I have to offer. A unique sensitivity, mindfulness, and attunement lifestyle. It’s so funny because I am finally doing what I love at an age where I didn’t expect it anymore. Starting up my own company and doing a bit of modeling work. I used to dream about two things and what I thought was only for others.
What’s your favorite fantasy?
My favorite fantasy is about being hugely successful and highly appreciated for what I have to offer to others. When I write this down like that, I’m actually ashamed to say this. But it’s the truth. And world peace, of course!
